The principal research area of the society, the Extracellular Matrix and its role in the regulation system, is supported by a triennial program in collaboration with MIUR (Ministero della Istruzione, della Università e della Ricerca) with the title “Messa a punto di nuove metodiche di screening diagnostico funzionale e riabilitativo per la medicina preventiva”
The principal object is to study in depth the mechanisms which join Extracellular Matrix modifications with the functional alterations and musculoskeletal pain.
This program includes both laboratory research and clinical experimentation.
This program is oriented to:
• improve and complete the catalogue of diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices
• integrate with other innovative instruments scientifically validated and Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) conformed
• edit a theory-practice collection for physical therapy study, research and clinical applications.
